چکیده

Abstract Due to the lack of research on applicability and optimization design low freezing point asphalt mixtures in specific environments, especially for harsh environments mountainous areas during cold winter high humidity other seasons, there is a significant engineering demand. This paper carries out study performance northern areas. Through comparative analysis mixture technologies road mixtures, combined with climate driving characteristics areas, suitable selected. The shows that hygroscopicity M filler significantly stronger than Z filler, since relatively high, selecting fillers lower prepare can avoid safety accidents caused by excessively wet surfaces. SBS modified waste tire rubber powder both produce meet requirements standard performance, have good temperature performance. When conditions permit, recommended as first choice.

Internal Structure Features of Asphalt Mixture for Field Samples

Asphalt mixture is heterogeneous in nature; therefore, macroscopic parameters alone cannot describe the mechanical behavior of the mixture. In recent years, the arrangement of the aggregate particles in terms of spatial and directional distributions, and contact points are considered as the internal structure of asphalt. The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the microstructural chara...

A Point Cloud Filtering Approach to Generating DTMs for Steep Mountainous Areas and Adjacent Residential Areas

Digital terrain models (DTMs) are considered important basic geographic data. They are widely used in the fields of cartography, land utilization, urban planning, communications, and remote sensing. Digital photogrammetry mainly based on stereo image matching is a frequently applied technique to generate DTMs. Generally, the process of ground filtering should be applied to the point cloud deriv...

Effect of Fibers on Mixture Design of Stone Matrix Asphalt

Lignin fibers typically influence the mixture performance of stone matrix asphalt (SMA), such as strength, stability, durability, noise level, rutting resistance, fatigue life, and water sensitivity. However, limited studies were conducted to analyze the influence of fibers on the percent voids in mineral aggregate in bituminous mixture (VMA) during the mixture design. This study analyzed the e...
